1.  Marketing Material: Your resume, cover letter, and any supplemental
information must convey a clear and concise message to prospective
employers.  Most of all they must succinctly articulate tangible benefits that you
will bring to a company.  If an employer has to guess at your value, you will be
relegated to the waste basket.  This is an employer's first impression of you, so
you have to make it count or it will be the last.

2.
Interviewing Skills:  How well do you interview?  Do you know what to wear
and what to say?  This is often an overlooked area of the career campaign.
Often, job seekers don't prepare for an interview like they should.  This is a
mistake and employers will pick up on your lack of preparation.

3.
Negotiating Ability: If you are offered a position, how will you guarantee
you will get the right compensation, responsibilities, or that corner office?  Do
you know your bottom line and are you prepared to walk if you don't get it?

4.
Networking: If you're like most job seekers, you probably plaster your
resume on as many job boards as you can find and hope for the best.  Are you
disappointed by these results?  We can help you develop a network that will get
you around the HR department and in front of the decision makers.

Is Career Coaching Right For You?

Strategic Advancement Group is selective regarding who we choose to work
with as career coaches.  This is for one reason only; not everyone is an ideal
client.  We look for the following attributes when selecting who we will work with.

-Are you willing to do the work?  We will give you the tools and work with you
one-on-one, but you have to be willing to execute what we teach you in order to
be successful.

-Are you motivated?  We don't work with individuals who are satisfied with the
status quo.  We work with highly enthusiastic professionals who want to take
their careers to the next level.

-Are you coachable?  Our goal is to teach you the tools that will get you the
ideal position at the compensation level you are worth.  You must take our
advice and trust the system.  If you do this, the dividends will be great.

-Are you dependable?  If you are someone who constantly cancels
appointments or can't keep commitments then career coaching probably isn't
right for you.
